Product Comparison – Eddi vs Solar iBoost

  1. I’ve recently had an eddi installed in my house which has a c.2.6kWp PV array. It has diverted 45kWh of surplus power to heating/hot water so far (5 days) saving me c.€9 so far… the equivalent of €130 per annum! I take great pleasure checking the analog utility meter every now and then seeing it being held almost stationary most of the time.

Recently installed an eddi in to my 4kw solar pc system. Well what more can I say, simple to install, simple set up. Been installed 5 weeks showing 108kw. Needless to say I have not yet had to put my immersion heater on since installing. Even on a cloudy day any spare is diverted to the immersion keeping it warm or hot whichever. This product is far superior to the previous much more expensive one I had. Highly recommend.
