I’ve recently had an eddi installed in my house which has a c.2.6kWp PV array. It has diverted 45kWh of surplus power to heating/hot water so far (5 days) saving me c.€9 so far… the equivalent of €130 per annum! I take great pleasure checking the analog utility meter every now and then seeing it being held almost stationary most of the time.

Recently installed an eddi in to my 4kw solar pc system. Well what more can I say, simple to install, simple set up. Been installed 5 weeks showing 108kw. Needless to say I have not yet had to put my immersion heater on since installing. Even on a cloudy day any spare is diverted to the immersion keeping it warm or hot whichever. This product is far superior to the previous much more expensive one I had. Highly recommend.

I am delighted to say that the Eddi is now installed and working. When it smiled at the first input of electricity to the immersion heater – I smiled back. The installation was simple and straightforward and I really liked the detail in having a detachable back plate and the on/off button.
A really beautiful piece of equipment and having had an original Immersun I can see, that despite the no doubt very difficult time in the insolvency of Immersun, you have created an even better product in the Eddi. Although only using it in it’s simplest form i.e. to a single immersion heater, I can also see from the installation booklet that it has been developed to be able to be used in a wide range of different heating systems. Brilliant!

I have installed eddi 5 weeks back in early Dec 2017
Even though the weather has been dull and overcast it is allready saving me energy costs.
I store 330lts of hot water with solar coil at the bottom and a 27″ immersion at the top vertical cylinder, I am now going to install the optional relay board and fit an anti stratpump It looks like I will have pretty much free hotwater for 9 months of the year.

Great product. Easy to operate. Clear screen and well designed – shame it’s hidden in our airing cupboard. Had a couple of installation issues, but MyEnergi customer support were very helpful.

We’ve had Immersun 1, but regrettably upgraded to Immersun 2 and then had two failed units in 13 months. Given up, lost confidence in them. Now installed Eddi. It looks good, and NO FAN. That was important to us as the unit is near our bedroom. We coukd always hear the Immersun fan on boost, and it became a bit irritating. Eddi works away without a sound. Great!
